  • Overview

     

    Brooks Rehabilitation, a $200 million dollar organization with 2600+ users, is seeking a Chief Technology Officer.

     

    Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Chief Technology Officer provides leadership and oversight for Enterprise infrastructure and end user support services.  Working under general direction to plan (strategic and tactical), develop, manage, organize and direct the activities of the hosted and cloud systems across the Brooks Rehabilitation System of Care.  This position also serves as Information Security Officer in developing and prioritizing the technical safeguards as required by HIPAA, and best practice for healthcare organizations for risk management. 

     

    This role also is responsible for Disaster Recovery and Failover process across the enterprise. It is crucial that this position exercises oversight and accountability for the Information Security Program and Information Security\cyber security duties including proactive Threat Intelligence and Monitoring Program, Adherence  to IT compliance requirements including HIPAA, Joint Commission, CARF, Internal Audit Requests and other demands such as annual Risk Assessments, direct the development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan as well as develop, administer and periodically review  I.T. policies and procedures.

     

     

    Primary Outcomes and Deliverables:

    • Day to Day IT  is delivered as a continuous service to end users
    • Achieve the goals of the division and system Strategic Plan goals for IT
    • All systems  are available  & connected to meet business requirements with minimal complexity and cost to set up and maintain
    • Mobile workforce  demands are met across diverse business operations environment
    • IT systems, business operations, and facilities are defended against security breaches and vulnerability issues
    • Cost center budget is on target or below

     

    Requirements:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 6+ years of experience managing IT processes
    • 3+ years of directing IT operations and outsourced IT services
    • ISACA or ISC2 Security Certification preferred, or 1 year experience in security management with the capability to obtain CISM certification with one year of hire.

     

    Preferred:

    • Substantial exposure to networking platforms, data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced systems including Enterprise Management systems and accounting systems.
    • Experience in scoping and managing IT projects and budgets
    • Risk analysis and Management experience
    • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT
