POSITION TITLE:  Data Analyst

REPORTS TO:  Manager Decision Support

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive analysis from multiple data sources to effectively translate broad data sets into actionable information
• Search for patterns and trends in hiring, retention, turnover and employee engagement using multiple data sources
• Present findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership and stakeholders
• Create and maintain analytic reports and data to drive performance improvement and track progress against goals
• Work on cross-functional teams to develop novel methods for analyzing, validating and presenting data
• Work with data to develop algorithms, modeling and automation, as appropriate, to forecast and develop predictions
• Assist in development of data dictionary and software solution testing
• Safeguard PHI, maintaining confidentiality and abiding by HIPAA and privacy laws at all times
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Level Degree, or equivalent applicable experience
• 1-2 years of proven data analysis experience required
• Expert skills in MS Office productivity software especially MS Excel
• Attention to detail
• Possess the ability to coordinate/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrates the ability to work in multiple reporting systems
• Ability to effectively interact with, and present findings to, customers at various levels of the organization
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required 
• Ability to work independently and problem solve; critical thinking; meet challenges with resourcefulness; innovative
• Ability to document processes and analyses for reference required
• Motivated with positive attitude; highly adaptable and flexible to rapidly changing environment
• Ability to learn new technologies  

Desired:

• Experience with SAS software for analysis and visualization preferred
• Experience with SQL programming preferred
