Overview

The Activity Coordinator will help carry out Recreation and Wellness programming as designed by the Director of Recreation and Wellness to support the health and well-being of guests and residents.

 

Requirements:

 

  • High School /GED diploma 
  • 2 years experience 
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for set-up, clean-up and implementation of 1:1 and group activities per the planned schedule
  • Track inventory of supplies and activity equipment. Notify Activity Director/Manager of the need for ordering and/or order specified supplies within budgetary constraints
  • Completes assigned sections of the Recreation/Activity assessment for new residents within designated timeliness
  • Reviews patient’s leisure interests and provides guidance for participation with use of monthly calendar and daily sheets
  • Works independently and as a team to carry out assigned tasks
  • Meets with each new resident within 3 days of admission to welcome them to the facility and provide overview of program offerings
  • Communicates activity schedule to residents and encourages participation

 

Hours: Full Time 8:30am-5:00pm with variability. 1 evening per week
