Work-site Wellness/Health Education and Promotion
Definition: Wellness Intern is responsible for helping create and run day-to-day activities of the Wellness Program. Provides backup to Wellness Coordinator and assists with facilitating on-site Health Education/Work-site Wellness Classes/Benefits Education via presentations.
-Help design, update, roll out, and market wellness and benefits through the company for the purpose of keeping employees informed of their plans and wellness resources
-Help to initiate programs aimed at encouraging preventative medical care and increasing physical activity and healthy eating.
-Develop a plan to distribute wellness information (i.e., goals, activities) for the purpose of relaying information and promoting the programs.
-Update eBrooks (internal website) wellness and benefits pages
-Research wellness vendors and programs to fit needs of the company, including discounts for employees, etc.
